Retake Your SwimSafer CAMS Assessment

If you did not pass your SwimSafer CAMS assessment, you can register for another assessment attempt. You may continue practising with your existing coach or choose to prepare and retake your assessment through The Assessment Centre (TAC).

You do not need to restart the entire SwimSafer programme. Focus on the skills that require improvement and register for another assessment for the same SwimSafer stage when you are ready.

How the CAMS Access Process Works

Step 1:

Check Your Assessment Result

Step 2:
Practice Before Your Retake

Step 3:

Register for New CAMS Assessment

Step 4:
Complete Your Registration

Step 5:
Attend Your Assessment

Log in to the CAMS portal:
https://saqswimsg.org.sg/home/

Review the result carefully so you know which skills or components require further practice.

Before booking another assessment, we recommend practising the skills that you were unable to complete successfully during your previous assessment

You may choose to:

Option 1 — Practise with Your Existing Swimming Coach

Work on the required skills with your current coach before registering for another CAMS assessment.

Option 2 — Prepare and Retake with The Assessment Centre (TAC)
If you prefer additional support, you may arrange your reassessment through The Assessment Centre (TAC).

Our team can help guide you through the reassessment process and arrange an available CAMS assessment slot when you are ready.

Important: A reassessment is still a complete assessment attempt. Being unsuccessful in only one component previously does not automatically mean that only that component will be assessed during your next attempt.

When you are ready, you may register for an available CAMS assessment with The Assessment Centre.

Select the same SwimSafer stage that you are retaking.

After selecting your assessment session, follow the registration instructions to ensure that your SwimSafer account is correctly linked/tagged for the assessment.

Make sure the participant details and SwimSafer stage are correct before the assessment.

Attend the assessment at the stated.

Please arrive early and be ready to enter the pool at the scheduled assessment time.

Your assessor will conduct the CAMS assessment according to the requirements of the registered SwimSafer stage.
