SwimSafer Relaunched: Assessment Registration Process

Bookings Are Now Open

As part of our ongoing assessment schedule, The Assessment Centre (TAC) continues to support SwimSafer assessment coordination through our streamlined registration platform.

This is part of our internal operations to help manage submissions efficiently — including account setup, tagging, and scheduling under the latest national CAMS (Centralised Assessment Management System) requirements set by SportSG and Singapore Aquatics.

Standardised Assessment Fee

All assessments processed through TAC follow the updated pricing structure:

• Total Fee: $100

  • $50 (CAMS registration fee)

  • $50 (TAC admin, insurance, and coordination support)

This ensures that every candidate receives full administrative support throughout the process.

What’s Included in TAC’s Admin Support

The $50 TAC coordination fee goes beyond just admin work — it includes protection and peace of mind for every candidate:

• Injury Coverage – up to $1,000 for assessment-related accidents

• Accidental Death Coverage – up to $10,000

• Full admin support – including registration handling, account setup, documentation, result processing, and certificate follow-up

• Singpass-enabled registration – ensuring secure and accurate data entry

• Dedicated support team – for all booking, email, and system-related queries

We ensure that every candidate under our care is supported not just with admin coordination, but also with the protection they deserve.

 A Quick Overview of the Process

To comply with the Centralised Assessment Management System (CAMS), all candidates must:

1. Hold a CAMS account under the student’s name (not the parent’s)

2. Tag “The Assessment Centre” as their assessment provider

3. Acknowledge the slot assigned to them once submitted into CAMS

TAC will assist with:

• Singpass-linked registration for secure and verified data capture

• Creating the CAMS account (using a dedicated student email, if they opt for this option during registration)

• Slot tagging and acknowledgment

• Result processing and certificate delivery

What's New in the Registration Process?

With the implementation of the Centralised Assessment Management System (CAMS), candidates are now required to:

1. Have a CAMS account (registered under the student’s name)

2. Tag “The Assessment Centre” as their assessment provider

3. Acknowledge their assigned assessment slot in CAMS

To ease this transition, our system allows candidates to complete booking on our platform — with the option to have us handle their CAMS account creation and slot confirmation as part of our admin support.

Registration Code Required

All candidates registering through TAC are required to enter a registration code during the booking process. This has been the case since the previous system and we will be maintaining that.

By using the registration code, you acknowledge that your registration is processed under The Assessment Centre as a TAC candidate for assessment coordination and submission.

Add-On: Retry Guarantee (Optional)

Worried about passing on your first try? Our Retry Guarantee is available during booking:

• Add-on Fee: $40

• If you pass on your first attempt — great!

• If not, we’ll fully waive your re-registration admin fee for your retry

This optional protection gives added peace of mind to candidates — especially those registering close to deadlines or transitioning between stages.

Other Optional Add-Ons

• Printed Certificate – $10

  • For candidates who wish to receive a physical copy of their official SwimSafer certificate

Our Role in the Registration and Assessment Process

At TAC, we operate solely as a neutral administrative coordinator for SwimSafer assessments. We are not a swim school and do not manage or represent instructors or training providers.

Our role is administering the assessment process and ensuring that every candidate is properly registered and supported in line with CAMS requirements.

When registering through us, candidates benefit from:

• Access to scheduled assessments at multiple venues

• Singpass-enabled registration for secure and verified data capture

• CAMS account assistance, including account creation (if selected), tagging, and slot acknowledgment

• Optional add-ons such as Retry Guarantee and printed certificates
